The award of a SALT College Diploma follows the successful completion of distance learning course subjects, offering enhanced skills for effective Christian ministry. Studies at diploma level require the student to have a strong understanding of the material studied, with good reading skills, and an ability for reflection and independent thought.
Students will already have gained their Certificate in Salvation Army Ministry as a prerequisite for a diploma course, having successfully completed at least six (6) subjects at Certificate level. High overall marks gained in individual Certificate subjects provide a good indicator for which Diploma stream to undertake. Each Diploma stream specifies the number of subjects which must be completed for the award of a Diploma. Further subjects, from either Diploma or Certificate subject lists can be added where desired.
