Students who have already gained a Certificate in Salvation Army Ministry, and who successfully complete all of the following six (6) subjects, can be awarded a SALT College Diploma in Theology:
Studying the different kinds of literature that make up the New Testament, alongside their settings in history, politics, and geography.
Studying the different kinds of literature that make up the Old Testament, alongside their settings in the beliefs, events, and religious institutions of the day.
An introductory survey of major world religions. The study looks at the beliefs of major world religions alongside Christianity, and explores the topic of religious toleration.
An introduction to the origins and growth of Christianity. This study explores the explosive growth of Christianity, from its earliest focus in Jerusalem, to conquer the world by AD 500.
A systematic analysis of a variety of Christian beliefs. This study looks at Christian writings from a variety of periods throughout Christian history.
